Session 17

Session 17 - We convince Naelamin to take us tothe library, to check out the forbidden section, Blorg breaks a
vvase when we get inside and I check out the doors, feeling four layers of magic. Alina decides to pick the lock to
the door with her sickle, opening the door and triggering an alarm, Before the guards arrive, Velma wildshapes
into a rat and Alina manages to hide the rest of us with a silent image. We come up with a few plans, but we
have Alina misty step outside and try to create a distraction to lure the guards away. This only works for one of
the guards outside, who she charms, but a guard inside the library finds us. Thinking we will be executed, l have
Blorg and Gon attack the elves with me. During the fight, Alina leads a guard away to die from a mushroom,
Velma manages to get outside and transforms back, and Naelamin exits through a window, escaping the library.
‘Afifth elf joins the fight, with Gon and | dropping unconscious and then coming back thanks to Velma, we
decide to surrender. Velma, Gon, Blorg, and | are taken before the council, where | plead the case that only |
should be punished, that Velma and Alina werent there and that Gon and Blorg were just following my lead, but
the council believes we all share blame. They can't decide anything at the moment, not until Alina and Naelamin
are found. As we sit in a cell, with the knights in a cell beside us, Alina sneaks around the city, trying to find
Naelamin. Alina recreates Lackey, as it had been killed during the fight, and follows Naelamin' tail to the inner
city, towards the courthouse. While ina bush, Alina sees Naelamin being escorted out in cuffs. Aline attempts
to tty and free Naelamin, but fails and runs away. Later, Mordthas lets the rest of us go, saying that Naelamin
took the blame for everything and was executed for it. We are escorted out of the city, where we meet up with
‘Alina, who had just burned down the elves' library. We lick our wounds and force ourselves to march through the
night in an attempt to get away from the elves. | try to comfort Velma about it, but she pushes me away.
